DHP Night Shelter provides transitional housing for up to thirty men who are employed or actively seeking work. Each night a dinner is provided through partnership with over twenty churches and organizations. The staff includes counselors and social workers who are supporting the transition from homelessness to independence. The shelter has recently started running year round.

St. John’s Lutheran Church in partnership with Mercy Community Church at DHPC, opened a freeze shelter to house 10 – 12 people on nights when the temperature drops below 28 degrees.

A community currently meeting in the building of Druid Hills Presbyterian Church, focusing on crossing the boundaries of income and housing in their congregation.
Clothing at Mercy Community Church at DHPC is available on Mondays and Thursdays, 12:30 to 1:30p.m.
Boxed and canned food, sandwiches, and clothing can be brought to Mercy on Mondays or Fridays from 8:00 a.m.-noon, on Wednesdays from 4:00-9:00 p.m., or on Thursdays from 9:00 a.m.-noon (to set up another time, call the church at 404-803-5075).
Mercy Church is located in the basement of Druid Hills Presbyterian Church. Enter the DHPC parking lot from the St. Charles Street entrance, turn left and go around to the side of the building. There's a sign on the door.
